I know my kid is psyched about this. The horror video game ‘Five Nights at Freddy's’ is finally getting a movie. It was announced back in 2015, so it's taken a while to get it off the ground, but it looks like they started filming in February and it’ll be released in time for Halloween.
The very first trailer was just released, check it out below. It looks like it's going to be pretty good!
If you’re unfamiliar with the story, it's about a security guard who works nights at Freddy Fazbear's pizza, where some scary animatronics come to life after hours. In the game you must survive five nights with the characters and avoid being killed and stuffed into a mascot costume.
The four main characters Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy the Pirate were brought to life for the movie by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
"Five Nights At Freddy's" hits theaters and will stream on Peacock beginning October 27th.
