I guess Jay-Z and Beyoncé are doing alright in the money department they just bought the most expensive home ever sold in the entire state of California. They shelled out $200 million for a house in Malibu and believe it or not that's almost $100,000 less than the asking price! Guess they got a bargain!
The massive, 30,000-square-foot home is perched on an 8-acre bluff that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It’s in the Paradise Cove area, sometimes referred to as Billionaires' Row.
The house was designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, and it’s being called an “architectural jewel“ and “the greatest architectural masterpieces in the country.” It was originally built by art collector William Bell, and it took him almost 15 years.
Gotta say, I’m not a fan of the style, it’s entirely made of concrete.
This real estate purchase is now the second most expensive in the United States. A New York City apartment is at the top selling for $238 million.
