On June 15th, the Andean Cultural Center of Rhode Island is holding a 30th Anniversary Celebration at the Rhode Island State House. This fun event will include Andean art, music, dance, food and more!
The Andean Culture encompasses the traditions of the indigenous peoples of the Andes. There are six South American countries that make up this culture; Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.
Approximately 20,000 Andean-Americans live here in Rhode Island, and the Andean Cultural Center of RI helps keep their traditions alive and educate the public with exceptional cultural programming.
