Meta's answer to Twitter, the new social media platform called Threads, is the fastest growing online platform ever with over 100-million people signed up already, and it just came out a week ago.
It is also the most downloaded app in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store right now. The Threads app is expected to continue to grow in users as it has not even been released in Europe yet.
Meta did make it really easy for new users to join via their Instagram account, although FYI, if you don’t like your Threads experience and you delete the Threads app, you’ll also delete your Instagram account.
Instagram says right now Meta is aware of the issue and is working on a way for users to delete the Threads app without losing their Instagram account.
