The Kevin Costner divorce drama continues, and he is going to owe some big money. A judge has now issued a temporary ruling that ordered Costner to write a check for $129,000 per month in child support to his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner.
That amount is a little over half of what she originally asked for. Costner’s lawyers immediately shot down her original request of $248,000 per month. He claims she wanted the extra cash for “cosmetic procedures.”
Court documents state that the "Yellowstone” star offered Christine $51,940 per month which she promptly rejected.
This new ruling appears to order both parents to share the cost of health care, tuition, and extracurricular activities. None of this will be finalized until a hearing which has been scheduled for next month.
