Trader Joe's Recalling Another Product, Soup May Contain Bugs

Last week it was rocks in cookies. Now it's bugs in soup! What's up with Trader Joe's recalling more products this week?

It’s been a bad week for the grocery store chain. You may have heard last Friday that Trader Joe's recalled a couple of cookie products because they may contain rocks. They were Trader Joe's Almond Windmill Cookies and Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with sell by dates ranging from October 2nd to October 21st of this year.

The company says the recalled cookies have been taken off store shelves and destroyed and warns if you have them in your pantry to bring them back to the store for a refund.

Well, now they're recalling 11,000 cases of broccoli cheddar soup because it may contain bugs!

The FDA put out a press release last night saying that Trader Joe's Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup has something very unexpected, it may contain insects in the frozen broccoli florets!

The 20 ounce soup containers were sold at stores in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington state and are being voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer. Well, it's extra protein, right?
