Last week Twitter rebranded to X, and now my Twitter app bears the new X logo. Sadly the bird has flown the coop...and I didn’t even do an update to my phone, it just changed on it’s own.
However, if your Android smartphone or iPhone still has the old bird logo on the app it could be worth tens of thousands of dollars!
People are cashing in on those iPhone models that still have the old Twitter logo as they are already considered collector’s items. Believe it or not some people are selling their devices for thousands of dollars online.
One phone was listed for a whopping $25,000! I can’t imagine who would be stupid enough to pay that, but nothing would surprise me. Word to the wise if you do purchase a phone with the old Twitter logo and want to keep it that way, be sure to keep it in airplane mode and never do an update or the X will take over.
