New Poll Finds This is the Most Important Thing for a Fulfilling Life

When I was young, my dad always said find a job that you love to do, and it'll never feel like work. So, I got into radio, and you know what? He was right. It turns out having a job you like is pretty important when it comes to life satisfaction.

A new Pew Research study of over 5000 Americans asked what they consider “extremely” or “very important” to living a fulfilled life, and 71% of them said having a job or career that they enjoy. Yeah, you've got to go there every day, probably at least five days a week, so you really should be happy with that career choice.

Sixty-one percent said having close friends, while 26% said having children. I wonder if that number is lower now than it was at one time. Only 23% said being married and 24% said having lots of money. Like they say, money can't buy you happiness. Hopefully you're doing something fulfilling today!
