Lifespan is helping to fill a void at the Rhode Island Free Clinic. The clinic did not have its own pharmacy, so Lifespan employees are donating their time to bring pharmacy services and provide free medications to their patients.
Since the program began over the summer, they have served more than 200 patients – the vast majority of which are Providence residents -- and they hope to be able to serve even more patients throughout the city.
