Well, this isn't good news for a parents of little kids who want to see Mickey and Minnie and all the rest. A trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland now going to cost even more.
Yesterday, Disney announced they are raising prices on tickets to not only their theme parks, but also annual passes, parking and their Genie plus service which lets you skip the lines at certain attractions.
The cost of an annual pass will increase between 30 and $50 depending on which pass you purchase. And just about all ticket options at Disneyland in California will be going up between $5 and $65.
Driving to Disney? Parking your car will cost you another 5 bucks. Genie Plus, which cost $25 will now go up $30 per day
Earlier this year Disney announced it is planning to invest $60 billion into its theme parks over the next decade. I guess progress costs money,
It sounds like they're pricing out a lot of families from having that experience. We'll see how many families decide to skip that Disney trip, as they just can't afford it
