Some folks in Florida are planning to host the very first-ever “Florida Man Games” next February, and they claim it will be “the most insane athletic showdown on Earth.”
The games will be held in St. Augustine, FL and some of the planned events include beer belly wrestling, a mud duel and my personal favorite, the Evading Arrest Obstacle Course. That competition will require contestants to run through yards, jumping over fences all while being pursued by actual police officers.
A couple of stars from the old 90s series “American Gladiators” have agreed to serve as referees for the games. Sounds like a blast! I hope it's televised or streamed somewhere.
General admission tickets are on sale now for $45.
