Tributes are pouring in honoring actor Matthew Perry who died over the weekend at his home in Los Angeles. And now the cast of "Friends" has released a statement regarding their close friend.
People reports that Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer wrote that they are all "utterly devastated" by Perry’s death and that the “Friends” are more than just cast mates, they are family.
The note continued, “We are shocked and deeply, deeply saddened by our beloved friend Matthew’s passing. It still seems impossible. All we can say is that we feel blessed to have had him as part of our lives. He was a brilliant talent.”
They say we can expect to hear more from them about this at a later time.
Perry’s body was discovered Saturday in his hot tub at his house in L.A. It appears that he drowned, however a toxicology report is being done to determine his official cause of death. That could take a few months to come back. For now, Perry's cause of death has been listed as deferred.
