Everybody's gotten a present or two that wasn’t a favorite, what’s the absolute worst one you’ve unwrapped? A new survey from online gift site Merchoid wanted to find out. They asked 3-thousand Americans about the biggest holiday gift fail they ever received and got some enlightening responses.
- The poll also finds that a quarter of respondents think their partner’s gifts aren’t very thoughtful and for 39%, that’s a potential dealbreaker.
- The way a gift is presented is important to 63%, while 47% feel a gift’s cost is equal to its emotional worth.
- And nearly two-thirds (65%) say a present can change their perception of the giver forever.
