Starbucks is trying to do their part to clean up the environment. Yesterday the coffee chain announced that going forward their customers will be allowed to use their own clean, personal cups both in the drive-thru and when placing mobile orders.
Starbucks’ goal is to reduce the company’s waste by 50-percent by 2030.
If you'd like to use your own personal cup, just tell the barista when you order in the drive-thru or, if you’re using the app, choose the "personal cup" option for a mobile order.
And the good news is, if you do choose to use your own cup, you’ll get ten cents off your order, plus 25 Starbucks Rewards Bonus Stars.
All standard size options and beverage formats are eligible for orders in that personal cup.
