“The Sopranos” hits a major milestone tomorrow, the iconic series turns 25 this year! The very first episode aired on HBO January 10th of 1999, and to celebrate the show is hitting social media in a big way.
Warner Bros. Discovery announced the launch of an official Sopranos TikTok (@TheSopranos). Every episode of the show will be edited down and released as a series of short clips. “Sopranos In :25,” will feature all 86 episodes in 25-second posts on TikTok.
Also, now available is “The Sopranos 25th Anniversary Collection” which was released by HBO yesterday. That features lots of never-before-seen footage, deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes content.
Reportedly the cast will reunite and we can expect “multiple fan experiences” with Alamo Drafthouse starting tomorrow (Wednesday, January 10th).
There will be a Satriale’s pop-up in both Los Angeles and New York featuring stars Jamie Lynn-Sigler and Robert Iler aka Meadow and A.J. Soprano. They’ll do a special episode of their Sopranos-themed podcast “Not Today, Pal.”
